What’s Included in the Mother’s Day Wreath Printable

Inside the PDF file you’ll find three black and white pages to download and print.

The first page is our heart shaped wreath template outline ready for you to color.

On the second page you’ll find a heart shape with the words ‘Happy Mother’s Day’ and lots of heart, leaves and flower outlines.

On the third page you’ll find three more heart shapes with different phrases to choose from, ‘mom’, ‘mum’ and ‘I love you’.

All of the pages are designed in black and white so that you can color them in and they are free for personal use or for use in classrooms, libraries or not-for-profit groups and you can print as many copies as you like.

  • Mother’s Day wreath craft printable PDF
  • White paper or cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Coloring pencils, colored markers or crayons
  • Optional: ribbon or yarn

How to Make a Mother’s Day Wreath Craft

Start by printing the PDF file onto white paper or cardstock. While there are three pages you only need to print the third page if you’ll be using that.

Color in the heart shaped wreath template and all of the decorations that you’ll be using. If you want to make this craft a little bit quicker to complete then you can leave the wreath outline blank or you can print it onto colored paper or cardstock to make this step a bit quicker.

Cut out the wreath and decorations using your scissors. You’ll find a dotted line around each shape to help guide you.

Glue the large heart shape into the centre of your wreath. If you don’t want to use the larger heart shape you could cut out the centre of the wreath instead.

Gluing on heart shapes to make a Mother's Day craft

Glue the flowers, leaves and small heart shapes onto your wreath.

If you would like to hang your Mother’s Day wreath up then make a loop of string or yarn and glue or tape this to the back of your wreath.

Instructions

  • Print the PDF file onto paper or cardstock.

  • Color in the wreath outline and decorations.

  • Cut out the heart wreath and all of the decorations, following the dotted lines around them.

  • Glue the heart shape into the centre of the wreath.

  • Glue the flowers, leaves and smaller hearts onto the outside of the wreath.

Notes

Once you’ve finished making your Mother’s Day wreath you can glue or tape a loop of ribbon or yarn to the back of it if you wish to hang it up.
